I received this book in the Once Upon a Book Club’s Romantasy box. I wasn’t sure what to expect. At first I felt that it was eerily similar to A Court of Thorns and Roses. The main character Wren shares a lot of the same characteristics as ACOTAR’s Feyre. I thoroughly enjoyed this story though and found it similar to a beauty and the beast retelling. I also got Hades and Persephone vibes. I would recommend reading this if you like Romantasy, one bed, enemies to lovers, and banter.
