This book really solidified my love for the fake dating trope. I would say it’s also a wonderful tale of grumpy x sunshine - which I have always liked. I enjoyed the academia setting, and found the focus on STEM to be interesting and fresh. 

I found the characters very lovable, and felt the dynamics between friends to be realistic.

It was the slow burn for me, though. The spice was top notch. 

I can’t wait to read more Ali Hazelwood!
