Love & Other Words
by Christina Lauren
5 out of 5 stars
I loved this one. I read The Unhoneymooners a few months ago and really enjoyed it - so I wanted to pick up another Christina Lauren. This one was similar to another book I read over the summer - “Every Summer After” by Carley Fortune. Both have friends to lovers, second chance romance, sort of a coming of age with the dual timelines. Both had a character with a late parent during childhood - lots of similarities. If you liked Every Summer After - you’ll love this one too!

No cake. No big party. Just French fries, rain, and joy in the shape of him. Five years ago, he changed everything.
